V1: Made in the UK - The New 1920

The New 1920
Indie Punk Rock that adds to the rapidly increasing Red Dragon Army takeover

The New 1920 trio call their home the Welsh city of Cardiff, and it is these borders in which they made their name. After just a few live dates with fellow Taff’s Kids in Glass Houses and The Blackout! the media began to pick up on the Indie ripples created by the band. They gain airplay on Radio 1, and even make an appearance on New York station 103.1. The recognition didn’t stop there as at the end of 2006 they did their first tour with troop leaders Lostprophets, and then yet another appearance on the bands Download 2008 warm up shows.
The foursome’s sounds are spread sparingly over the net, but when found, their catchy strums and guitar lead intro’s leave you wanting to hear more than the short clips accessible to your ears. The vocals cut with a Billy Talent-ish grit, and the light instrumental layers allow the soft Prophets influences to trickle through where the tiny hint of Ska skins pulled tight can also be heard.
The New 1920’s future is currently shrouded in mystery, but it will all soon be revealed for this bands future is nothing but bright.
