The UK music scene is reproducing like rabbits; more and more Brit bands are breaking the barriers and hitting the headlines. Tonight three sets of teen Rockers take to the stage and do their South East roots proud; showing The Daily Mail that there’s more to the UK’s youth than they report.
Canterbury and All Forgotten warm up the excitable audience to boiling point; give them just a few months and these supports will be topping their own heavy selling shows.
Headliners We Are The Ocean fill the crammed venue with their melodic vocals and intense breakdowns. Layers of girls line the front and pits of boys rotate at the centre of the venue. Pinks bras and yellow knickers are strewn across the stage, the band stepping over straps as they move to their sounds. Just two songs in front man Dan catapults over the frenzied borders as the night begins as it means to go on.
